RE Data
Following are the format specifications of the Wind Power Generation Data to be supplied by the Wind Power Developer
- The file should be provided in the .csv format with comma delimited values. The name of the CSV file should follow naming convention as ‘DeveloperName-WG’ for wind generation data file. E.g. if name of the Developer is India Power the name of the wind generation file should be “IndiaPower-WG”. Please NOTE that there should be no space in the file name.
- The file should have the following Data Items
- Wind Developer Name
- Wind Plant
- No. Of Turbines
- Installed Capacity
- Active Power
The sample file is provided. Please download the sample for reference here
- No data should have any spaces (Especially Developer Name and Plant Name) in any of the columns. All the spaces should be replaced by an underscore in the CSV file.
- The CSV file should have the Timestamp of the report generation in MM/DD/YY HH: MM format in the first line.
- The CSV File should have the Columns Headers in the second line separated by a comma. (The Column Headers should follow the same sequence as outlined in the attached sample. No exceptions/rearrangement of columns are allowed)
- The CSV File should have rest of the data matching with header columns in the same sequence as outlined in the sample format.
- The developer should FTP the CSV file to a directory assigned by the MSLDC. The FTP ID and Password credentials would be provided by the MSLDC to the developer one time to be used by the developer to FTP the files.
- FTP ID and Password should be guarded very carefully and should not be shared with anyone other than authorized personnel from the developer.
- The output file should be generated and sent to the specifed FTP directory every 10 minutes at
00:00, 00:10, 00:20, 00:30, 00:40, 00:50 every hour for 24 hours.
